Juicers and Foods Where to buy Organic Foods you can Trust
Organic registration is getting better and better. I am an absolute believer that if we change our diets to a more organic base we change our lives and live better.
Unfortunately we are seeing a lot of products out there that are just profiteers trying to jump on the band wagon. So we take the time to review every product and idea we look at before presenting it to you and giving you all the information on that product that we can.
The key is to find a Organic Grower you can trust. If at all possible, this should be you. But if that is not something you can do, find a Organic Grower selling in your area. Take the time (good outing for children too) to visit this grower and go through how they operate. A good grower likes to share this information.
Questions to ask the grower are:
1. Do you rotate crops
2. Do you ever set a area aside to rest the soil
3. Where does your water source come from
4. What fertilizers do you use
5. When you dig your soil, are there an abundance of worms
6. Do you harvest early or late in the products maturity
7. How do you store the harvest
Ask questions about how the grower is restoring important nutrients and minerals. I spend a lot of time with organic growers and many think it is adequate to simply be chemical free. We want more, we want worm castings, volcanic ash, Nordic sea kelp and fertilizers that are balanced in all minerals especially the minors. A grower will frown often not wanting to put that effort in, explain to them how that will be a selling point to other buyers and encourage them to make the changes and assure them you will be a loyal buyer.
